GCSE Results 2024
The 2024 GCSE results saw:
- 82% achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths, and 64% achieving the gold standard of grades 9-5 in English and Maths. This put the school second in the tables for Stockport.
- 32% achieving both English and Maths at grade 7 or above
- A Progress 8 score of +0.40, this means that on average our students achieved nearly half a grade higher in each of their GCSEs than their peers nationally
- 36% of all grades were at grade 7+
- 46 students achieved 8 or more grades 7+
- 86 students achieved 5 or more grades 7+
Particular congratulations go to:
- 18 students who achieved 5+ grade 9s
- 10 students who achieved straight grade 8s and 9s.
GCSE Results 2023
The national GCSE results saw the overall grading returned to the pre-pandemic levels of 2019. The results for the summer of 2023 show the following:
- 74% of students achieved both English and Maths GCSEs at grades 4 – 9 and 56% achieved this measure at the gold standard, ‘strong’ pass of grade 5 and better
- 16% of students succeeded at grades 7 -9 (old grade ‘A’ and above)
- 24% of the total grades achieved were at grades 7 – 9 and 61% of grades were are at 5 – 9.
GCSE Results 2022
- 86% achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths and 60% achieving a grade 5+ in English and Maths.
- A Progress 8 score of +0.23.
