Priestnall School was transformed into a magical world of ice and snow as students presented an unforgettable production of Frozen Jr. – the family friendly movie based on a story of heartwarming love between two sisters.

The show, which ran for three nights, featured a large cast of talented students and a dedicated crew working behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly.

There was a lot of anticipation and excitement in the build up to production week. Not only was this the first show of the production season for Laurus Trust schools, it was also the very first opportunity for students at Priestnall to showcase their talents on our new stage!

Frozen Jr. follows a story of true love and acceptance between sisters, expanding upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa.

When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.

On all three nights, students presented a spectacular show full of magical performances, big ensemble numbers, and larger than life characters!

Our student technical team were also excited to work with new lighting and sound equipment, adding a real touch of magic to each production night!

The Directors praised all the students involved for their hard work and creativity:

“We would like to thank the incredible cast and crew, who have demonstrated commitment, warmth and enthusiasm throughout the whole process. We have enjoyed every moment of working with these wonderful young people and helping them to develop performance confidence and their passion for musical theatre”.

Audiences were blown away by the talented performances and the high standard of the production, and gave the cast and crew a roaring applause at the end of each night!

The Frozen Jr production was a massive success – we are extremely proud of everyone who was involved.

We’d like to thank each and every person who contributed to this brilliant show, and thank everyone who came to watch for their overwhelming support!
